Perles Films USA is working with Hilda Graham, an internationally-recognized expert on the subject of bullying, to develop a film called Big Bully.  The storytelling power of cinema will be used to provoke emotions and stimulate thinking regarding the issue of bullying.  The film will engage and inspire individuals to re-examine personal experiences and memories of bullying.

The distinct perspective of the film is to examine bullying beyond the traditional view of children in schools. It will present new images of the bullying phenomenon as it exists across social settings and ages.

Do you have a story to offer?

A major part of this documentary will consist of interviews with ordinary people as well as experts.  Big Bully will be filming over the summer of 2010. Do you have a story to offer where you (or someone you know) have participated, and we would be able to film an interview?  The type of incidents we are looking for may have occurred in schools, the workplace or social settings (e.g., involving family, caregivers, clergy or government).  If you have any suggestions, please send the basic details along with contact information to us at
BigBully.Documentary@perlesfilms.com
We appreciate any references you can send us, but please understand that we will be able to explore and include in the film a limited number of incidents.
Executive Producers Louis Graham and Hilda Graham meet with Producer Joaquin Martin Perles for pre-production planning.
